I am a professional photographer based out of Castle Rock, CO, where I spend most of my time with my husband and two young children. While photography has been my artistic passion since the age of 13, I was a zookeeper for seven years after graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in Zoology. I have gone swimming with sharks, crocodilians, and snapping turtles. One of my more interesting stories involves helping to restrain an alligator and harpy eagle for veterinary exams. After becoming a mother, I wanted to transition to a more flexible career. Professional photography was the natural choice. Like many native Coloradans, I am an outdoor enthusiast, and an avid hiker and trail runner. I also enjoys golfing, kayaking, and gardening. I love to take my dog, children and camera along on my outdoor adventures.
